Handmade in our British workshop, every Batsby is built on a kiln-dried hardwood frame using time-honoured upholstery methods, ensuring stability and long life. The cushions offer full, enveloping comfort without losing their shape — ideal for long evenings, family lounging, or a quiet Sunday stretch-out.

A defining Batsby feature is its detachable arm system. Delivered with the arms removed, each arm simply slots into place on-site, locking firmly without screws or tools. This makes the Batsby one of the easiest deep sofas to deliver into homes with narrow doorways, Victorian terraces, urban apartments or tight stairs, while retaining a strong, solid feel once assembled.
