The swivel base on the Space isn't a gimmick, it's a genuinely useful mechanism, letting the chair turn to face a conversation, a window or a television without needing to be picked up and moved. That base is fitted into a solid hardwood frame rather than a lightweight moulded shell, so it carries the same build quality as everything above it and won't feel flimsy underfoot after a few years of use. The shape leans mid-century, cleaner lines than our club or wingback chairs, upholstered in our distressed vintage leather, hand-cut and fitted so grain and colour vary slightly piece to piece, and the leather will lighten gradually with age rather than wearing thin. • Clean stains with light warm soapy water and wash again with clean cold water. Pat dry or lightly with a hair dryer. Then buff up.
• Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent possible fading.
• Do not use abrasive and chemical materials such as sandpaper, alcohol, bleach for cleaning the surfaces.
• Protect from contact with sharp and hard objects.
• The leather can be cared for once a year, using a semi-analine cream added sparingly and buffed up.
