Detailed Description

The Queen Anne sofa carries the wingback armchair's cabriole legs and formal shape through to a 2-seater, a smaller, more considered piece than our larger family sofas, pairing genuine Harris Tweed with distressed vintage leather trim. The legs are shaped and fitted by hand rather than turned to a single standard profile. The tweed is woven and stamped with the Orb mark in the Outer Hebrides, hand-fitted alongside leather trim that will age and darken in its own way, giving the sofa more texture and depth than a single-material piece as the years go by. Frame construction is solid hardwood, made to order in Britain, with seat cushions using a supportive foam core wrapped in fibre. It suits a study, a snug, or a smaller sitting room that wants formality without needing a full three-seater. Lead time is four to six weeks, and every piece meets UK fire safety regulations.

Sustainability

Harris Tweed is hand-woven from pure virgin wool in the Outer Hebrides, using traditional methods passed down through generations. The wool is a renewable natural fibre, and every piece of Harris Tweed is produced under strict local regulation. By upholstering our furniture in Harris Tweed and making each piece in Britain, we support rural industries, skilled craftsmanship, and reduced transport compared to imported furniture.
