Set the Hugh armchair next to a window or a fire rather than in a straight line of other seating, and the rounded, relaxed shape makes more sense, built for sinking into rather than sitting formally upright. It pairs genuine Harris Tweed, woven and stamped with the Orb mark in the Outer Hebrides, with distressed vintage leather across the arms and trim, hand-fitted to the frame by our upholsterers rather than stretched over in one piece. Beneath the leather sits a breathable cotton pad, letting the hide breathe rather than trap warmth underneath. Available in Herringbone or Check tweed with tan or brown leather, and the two materials age separately, the tweed wearing in softly while the leather darkens and mellows over years of use, so the chair keeps changing in small ways long after it's delivered. It's a natural match for the Hugh sofa if you're building a full set, or stands well as a single chair on its own. Lead time is four to six weeks, and every piece meets UK fire safety regulations.

• Clean stains very lightly with warm water and pat dry with a cloth or very lightly dry with a hair dryer.
• Harris Tweed cushions are removable and can be dry cleaned.
• Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent the product from fading.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical materials such as sandpaper, alcohol, bleach for cleaning the surfaces.
• Protect from contact with sharp objects.
• The thread coming out of any part of the fabrics should never be pulled and torn. It should be cut with scissors without damaging the product.
• Leather can be maintained once a year, using a semi-aniline cream and lightly buffed
