The Berkley Chesterfield Wingback Armchair is a traditional British-made armchair that brings together classic Chesterfield styling with the warmth of genuine Harris Tweed and natural vintage leather. Built by hand in Britain, it's designed for everyday comfort and made using traditional upholstery methods that have stood the test of time.

The high buttoned back offers excellent support while the supportive seat cushion provides a comfortable sit that holds its shape with regular use. The removable seat cushion cover can be dry cleaned, making it practical as well as comfortable.

Every chair is built on a solid hardwood frame and upholstered in a choice of Herringbone or Green Check Harris Tweed, paired with either Tan or Brown distressed vintage leather. The leather is a semi-aniline, 100% natural leather tanned in Italy, with natural grain, scars and markings that make every chair unique. Over time the leather develops even more character, gradually lightening with age. Before delivery it is carefully oiled and waxed to nourish the hide and provide initial protection.

The Harris Tweed is hand-woven in the Outer Hebrides and carries its official authentication label, while the traditionally hand-buttoned back, hand twin-stitched leather details and individually applied antique nailhead trim complete the chair using time-honoured techniques.

Made to order with a typical lead time of 4–6 weeks, the Berkley is built as a long-lasting piece of furniture that can be enjoyed for many years.

• Clean stains very lightly with warm water and pat dry with a cloth or very lightly dry with a hair dryer.
• Harris Tweed cushions are removable and can be dry cleaned.
• Keep away from direct sunlight to prevent the product from fading.
• Do not use abrasive or chemical materials such as sandpaper, alcohol, bleach for cleaning the surfaces.
• Protect from contact with sharp objects.
• The thread coming out of any part of the fabrics should never be pulled and torn. It should be cut with scissors without damaging the product.
• Leather can be maintained once a year, using a semi-aniline cream and lightly buffed
