Detailed Description

This is a vintage aviator-style club chair, selected for its condition and overall build as part of our Vintage Revival collection.

The outer shell is formed from hand-polished aluminium panels, finished with a Union Jack motif. It’s a recognisable design, but the difference with pieces like this is in the feel — it has a proper weight to it, and once it’s in place, it stays put.

The seat and back are upholstered in distressed leather with ribbed stitching running through both. That ribbed finish helps hold the upholstery in place and gives the chair its shape. The leather shows natural creasing and variation across the surface, which is what you expect on a chair of this type and age.

In terms of sit, it follows a traditional club chair shape. It’s not deep seated and not overly upright either, so it works well as an everyday chair. You sit into it comfortably, with enough support through the back and base to make it practical rather than just decorative.
